pulse Launches Webcast on Telecommunication Network Solutions
May 5th, 2009 by pulse networks

Toronto, Canada – pulse networks, a leading provider of intelligent communications solutions for the wireless and wire line markets, is pleased to announce the May 1st launch of its Webcast “The Real-Time Interconnect Server — A New Solution for On-Demand, Cost-Adaptive Traffic Routing”.  The Webcast focuses on network solutions, highlighting ways in which telecommunication service providers can advance legacy systems as well as provide cost efficient, automated, and real time enabled solutions.  In today’s competitive telecommunications market, it is increasingly important for companies to identify potential cost savings while offering cheaper services and achieving higher customer satisfaction.

This webcast explores these opportunities, discussing Intelligent Routing, call session control, automation, real time enablement, and bridging legacy with next generation solutions.

The Webcast is co-hosted by Rob Khoury, Vice President of Sales at pulse networks, and Dan Baker, Research Director from Technology Research Institute—a market research and consulting firm specializing in telecom. Khoury says “We are excited about presenting this new class of product and educating carriers on the ability to drive down costs and increase margins by better using real time least cost routing technology and strategies. Most of our customers are experiencing very aggressive paybacks and ROIs by deploying such systems.”

The Webcast draws on Technology Research Institute’s market research and on pulse’s experience in providing companies with progressive and cost saving network solutions. Earlier this year, Technology Research Institute released an assessment of the “real-time interconnect server”, a new class of solution for on-demand, cost-adaptive traffic routing. pulse had two of its customer installations profiled in the report. The analyst team has been investigating telecom revenue management for several years, during which they have published research studies on telecom billing and charging, revenue assurance, fraud, and cost management.
